Public Relations Officer

Manuel De Jesús Núñez Chavarría was born in San José, Costa Rica. After completing his secondary education, he began preliminary studies in Islamic Sciences at the Hudayi Foundation in Istanbul, Turkey. He later earned a degree in Islamic Sciences from Sabahattin Zaim University and a degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University.

During his years in Turkey, Núñez Chavarría deepened his studies in Sufism and the political history of the Muslim world, training with prominent clerics from Syria, Oman, Turkey, and other countries. He subsequently moved to Madrid, Spain, where he completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Fluent in Spanish, French, Turkish, English, and Arabic, he currently serves, on an honorary basis, as Public Relations Officer for the Albanian Bektashi Tekke in the United States. His role involves fostering dialogue, strengthening cultural exchange, and supporting the preservation of Bektashi heritage at an international level.
